Another Monday....

After a really busy week last week, I'm hoping to get some sewing done this week.

The curtains for the Florist are finished and  hung, but not without drama.  I was rushing to finish, using my 'Rescue' Newhome machine, when the nut on the end of the handwheel flew off!  I couldn't fix it at that moment as I had the curtains to finish, so I just had to change to the Super Novum.  To be honest, this machine runs a lot better, just a bit quieter and smoother.  Anyway, that job is done, just the door curtains to do now, but no rush for those, but already the lady is talking about Mothers Day!

Anyway, there are two projects lined up for this week.  I got a Kindle for my birthday, and need a cover for it.  Should be simple enough, the hard part for me is always picking the fabric.  The other thing is - Bunting!

We went to the Wedding venue my daughter has chosen for next year, and before we had dinner we went for a stroll.  There was a lovely craft shop, selling cards, craft supplies, and the most beautiful appliqued items.  So, DGD has a birthday in February, and I'm going to make Bunting.

I'll be putting some photos up, and maybe a tutorial on the Kindle cover, if the camera behaves.  Off to do some work now, before choosing fabrics....
