My blog will not appeal to everyone, I don't do exciting things, on the whole my life is pretty mundane and that's the way I like it. Along the way I hope to share some experiences - good and bad, share a little gossip, and gain some friends.
My mind is a bit like a sink, all kinds of detritus floating round it, and this blog will be an attempt to collect some coherent thoughts and arrange them in a kind of order. I think I suffer from a sort of OCD, when I get interested in something, I worry it to death, so I won't be at all surprised if you don't always follow me!
Today is my birthday, I'm 58 and I got some wonderful presents, favourite up to now a Kindle! Charging up nicely as we speak. I also treated myself to a Pfaff 4850 Coverline, from eBay. It looks hardly used, and I will be letting you know how we get on. To date, I have had a bit of a tootle round, but done no 'proper sewing' on it. Looks a serious piece of kit though.
My day is looking to be quite full, as the government require me to provide information for the Inland Revenue, and HMRC (AKA the VATman), but I'm hoping to do a bit of sewing later. The Florist next door has asked me to make some curtains for her Valentines display, so I'm looking to get those out of the way so that I can start some serious projects!
